On February 19, 2026, the proud families, friends, and honored guests gathered at Recruit Training Command (RTC) in Great Lakes, Illinois, to witness a remarkable milestone — the U.S. Navy Boot Camp Graduation Ceremony.
This memorable event, often called Pass-In-Review (PIR), marked the successful completion of intense basic training for the newest Sailors of the United States Navy.
⚓ A Day of Pride and Honor
After weeks of rigorous physical training, academic instruction, teamwork development, and naval discipline, the recruits proudly marched across the drill hall floor in perfect formation. Their transformation from civilians into United States Navy Sailors was evident in their confidence, precision, and commitment.

RTC, located at Naval Station Great Lakes, is the only boot camp for the U.S. Navy. Here, recruits undergo approximately 8–10 weeks of challenging training designed to build mental strength, physical endurance, and teamwork.
