GREAT LAKES, Ill. — June 18, 2026 — The U.S. Navy proudly celebrated the graduation of Training Group 28 (TG-28) during a Pass-In-Review ceremony at Recruit Training Command Great Lakes.
The ceremony recognized the accomplishments of Sailors from Divisions 241, 242, 243, 244, 245, 246, 247, 248, 249, 250, and 928, who successfully completed the Navy’s demanding boot camp training program.
Over the course of approximately nine weeks, recruits underwent rigorous instruction in military discipline, physical fitness, firefighting, damage control, seamanship, swimming qualifications, weapons familiarization, and leadership development. Their training culminated with Battle Stations 21, the Navy’s final capstone assessment designed to test teamwork, resilience, and operational readiness.
The Pass-In-Review ceremony marks a significant milestone in the lives of these new Sailors, symbolizing their transition from civilian life to service in the United States Navy. Family members, friends, and Navy personnel gathered to celebrate their dedication, perseverance, and commitment to serving their country.
Following graduation, the newly minted Sailors will continue their professional development through advanced technical training and assignments throughout the fleet, where they will contribute to the Navy’s mission around the world.
The U.S. Navy extends its congratulations to all graduates of Training Group 28 and wishes them success as they begin the next chapter of their naval careers.
