The School of Governance, Law and Society (SOGOLAS) at Tallinn University celebrated its 2026 Graduation Ceremonies on 18 June 2026 in the university courtyard at Narva mnt 27, Tallinn, Estonia. The ceremonies honored graduates from bachelor's and master's degree programs in law, governance, political science, sociology, social work, and international relations.

Ceremony Schedule

The School of Governance, Law and Society organized three separate graduation ceremonies:

10:00 AM – Bachelor's Programmes (English)

12:00 PM – Bachelor's Programmes

2:00 PM – Master's Programmes

• Human Rights in the Digital Society
• Political Science
• International Relations
• Politics and Governance
• Social Entrepreneurship
• Social Pedagogy and Child Protection
• Social Work
• Sociology
• Law
• Child Protection
• Alternative Dispute Resolution

The ceremonies took place between 10:00 AM and 4:00 PM as part of Tallinn University's Graduation Week 2026.

Graduation Ceremony Highlights

The ceremonies followed Tallinn University's traditional academic format:

• Entrance of university leadership and academic staff
• Welcome speeches
• Diploma presentation to graduates
• Congratulatory greetings from faculty representatives
• Flower presentation
• Graduate recognition on stage
• Singing of the traditional student anthem "Gaudeamus"
• Official group photographs following each ceremony

Graduates received their diplomas individually and were formally recognized for completing their academic studies.

Venue Information

All graduation ceremonies were held in the courtyard of Tallinn University in front of the Nova Building. Graduates and faculty members were seated in a covered area, while guests and family members attended from the university courtyard. The ceremonies proceeded regardless of weather conditions.
